Our Process

1. The quotation

Once you have been in contact with ourselves (you can do this by completing the form below or visiting our Contact Us page), a member of the team will visit the site in which you would like the render works to be carried out. This visit is free of charge. A rough estimate will be given at the time of the appointment and if you’re happy, we will proceed to a written quotation. This quotation will have important Terms and Conditions for you to review, and most likely will be sent via email. Please note that these Terms and Conditions must be agreed and signed when accepting the quotation.

2. Schedule of works

If you are happy with the quotation provided we will then arrange a date for works to commence.

3. Safety requirements

If the project is 3 metres high or above, safety erected scaffolding will be required. This ensures that all safety measures are covered. We are more than happy to arrange a 3rd Party to ensure this is done.

4. Confirming colour choice

Once all of these steps are completed, you’ll need to inform us of the colour of render for your project. The colour will need to be confirmed at least 2 weeks before the works are scheduled to commence. We will then be able to order the correct materials to the site.

5. Completing the project

Once the arranged start date has arrived, one of our skilled teams will commence the works.

Please Note

  • Rendering processes may change due to external factors, i.e. the weather. The team leader will notify you if such delays occur.
  • Site specifics will be dealt with on an individual basis.
  • Over time, all external façade will always be prone to weathering.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I expect a lot of noise during the rendering works?

As a duty of care, please inform your direct neighbours that render works will be commencing. Our rendering machine will be running for approximately 2.5 hours per day, and any noise will be made within sociable hours.

Can the render be painted?

Technically, yes. Monocouche renders can be painted, however, this is not recommended as we use a ‘through colour’ system.

Does rendering come in different colours, if so, can I choose my own colour?

Yes, rendering can come in different colours, and we have over 40 different options for you to select from. In order to help you decide, a colour chart will be provided.

Do I need to remove any external fixtures and fittings prior to the rendering works?

In order to provide the best possible finish, we recommend removing all external lights and downpipes/stack pipes. We are able to carry out these works at an extra cost. Please inform us if this is a service you would require at the quotation stage.

How long will the works take?

Of course every project is different and largely dependant on the scale of the job. As an example, a typical 4-bedroom detached house will take approximately 14 working days.

Is a skip required?

Yes, a skip required for us to carry out the works. This will be included in the quote.

Is rendering messy?

Rendering isn’t the cleanest of construction work, however, our teams ensure they do their best to keep the site as clean as possible, including containing all debris during each of the stages.

Is scaffolding required?

Any projects that are 3 meters high or over will require safety erected scaffolding. As this is commonly the case, we already have a selection of third-party partners to choose from, and we’re happy to help arrange this.

Will my windows need to be covered?

Yes, your windows will need to be covered, however, this will be provided as part of the service.
